COMEDK has announced the UGET 2025 results, with Shishir H Shetty from Karnataka securing the top rank. Four out of the top ten positions have been claimed by Karnataka students, while 55 of the top 100 ranks also belong to the state. The exam was held on May 10 and 25, 2025, and results were released on June 7. A total of 1.13 lakh candidates appeared for the test across 179 cities in India.

Comedk UGET 2025: The Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) has announced the results of the Undergraduate Entrance Test (UGET) 2025. Over 1.13 lakh candidates appeared for the test, conducted across 179 cities in India. The examination was held in two phases—on May 10 and May 25, 2025—with rank cards made available from 2:00 PM on June 7, 2025.Out of 1,31,937 registered applicants, a total of 1,13,111 candidates took the test, including 37,715 from Karnataka and 75,396 from outside the state. Due to disruptions caused by "Operation Sindoor", COMEDK had to reschedule the exam in 24 centres. The final answer keys were published on June 4, 2025, following the review of 69 objections received after the release of the provisional keys on May 28, 2025.Four Karnataka candidates in top 10 listThe top rank in COMEDK UGET 2025 was secured by Shishir H Shetty from Moodbidri, Karnataka. He was followed by Malik Jain from Punjab and Varun J Kumar from Karnataka, who stood second and third, respectively. Strong overall performance from KarnatakaAn official analysis shows that 11,412 candidates scored in the 90th to 100th percentile, including 3,330 from Karnataka.
Similarly, 3,050 Karnataka candidates feature among the 11,446 candidates in the 80th–90th percentile range. In the 70th–80th percentile group, 3,296 out of 11,723 students are from Karnataka.Overall, Karnataka candidates hold 55 out of the top 100 ranks, reflecting a robust state-level performance in this year’s COMEDK UGET.Rank cards and counselling timelines announced
Candidates can now download their rank/score cards from 2:00 PM on June 7, 2025, through their individual logins. The online counselling registration and document upload window opens at 4:00 PM on June 9, 2025, and closes at 2:00 PM on June 18, 2025. Candidates must upload valid scanned documents, which will be verified by a panel of expert officers before they can proceed with seat selection.
