CHENNAI: A passenger died in the aircraft at Chennai airport moments before its departure to Kolkata on Monday. The incident occurred on the IndiGo flight scheduled to depart from Chennai at 3.05pm. Airport sources confirmed the incident but did not reveal the identity of the passenger. After the passenger was declared dead, all other passengers disembarked from the flight, and the entire aircraft was disinfected. The flight later took off to Kolkata at 4.30pm.In another incident, an IndiGo flight from Abu Dhabi landed in Chennai at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time of arrival on Monday after a passenger complained of discomfort and requested medical assistance.
