Actor Vibhu Raghave, diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer in 2022, fought a long and courageous battle for nearly three years. Despite undergoing multiple treatments and facing health setbacks, he remained resilient and positive. His journey was filled with hope, prayers, and strength until he sadly passed away in Mumbai on June 2, 2025, leaving fans and friends heartbroken.
On April 17, 2025, Vibhu posted a poignant video on Instagram, revealing the painful toll of his illness. He spoke honestly about the advanced stage of his cancer and how doctors had changed his treatment line. Captioned “A day at a time,” his heartfelt words deeply moved his followers, who poured in love and support, sensing the gravity of his condition.
During his treatment, many television celebrities, including Simple Kaul, Saumya Tandon, Addite Malik, and Mohit Malik, rallied behind Vibhu. They organized donation drives to help fund his extensive medical care. Their collective effort showed how deeply loved he was in the industry, and how his quiet strength had touched many lives both on and off screen.
Tributes poured in from close friends and colleagues. Aditi Malik called him “a beacon of strength,” praising his ever-radiant smile. Simple Kaul wrote, “You will be missed,” while Karan Veer Mehra posted, “Too soon.” Each message reflected the profound impact Vibhu had on those around him, not just as an actor but as a deeply cherished friend.
Vibhu made a mark in television with roles in Nisha Aur Uske Cousins, Suvreen Chawla, Rhythm, and even featured in Savdhaan India. His natural screen presence and warmth earned him loyal fans and admiration from peers. Vibhu’s last rites were held on June 3, with antim darshan beginning at 12:30 PM, followed by the funeral procession at 1 PM. He is survived by his mother, Anupama Raghav; brother, Aishwarya Raghave; and sister, Garima Singh Tyagi. His father, Ravindra Kumar Singh, had predeceased him. Vibhu’s passing is a loss deeply felt by his loved ones and admirers alike.
