Telangana polls 2018: Actor-turned-politician Vijayashanti falls as stage collapses during rally in Achampet

Actor-turned -politician Vijayashanti fell off a stage after it collapsed in Achampet of Mahabubnagar district in Telangana. She had gone to campaign for Congress party. The incident took place when she was waving the crowd. The big relief was that she escaped unhurt and later addressed the people.Earlier, Vijayashanti was associated with Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) but later she had quit the party. The last four years was a lull phase for the politician, but now she has decided to campaign for Congress.
