An earlier vote in April resulted in a 16-16 tie.Every team will be coming forward to cast their vote this week in Minnesota. While this is a controversial topic in the NFL world, requiring the attention of every team, the Rams’ HCSean McVay's clear stance, stated in April about the tactic, is getting resurfaced.

Los Angeles Rams vote on ‘tush push’

During an NFL team owners meeting in April, the Rams’ HC McVay was quite clear with his stance on the biased tactic exercised by the Eagles for years now. While talking about his thoughts to the media, McVay stated, “Well, I heard I had a heated argument about, about this with Howie [Roseman, Philadelphia Eagles General Manager] and Jon Ferrari [Philadelphia Eagles Assistant General Manager]. You know, here's what I—here's what I told them. And this is, this is the truth. I don't believe in banning something because them and Buffalo do it better than anybody else, so I'm not necessarily in agreement with that.
I don't like the optics of the play."The Rams’ head coach also added, "It looks like a rugby scrum. There are some health and safety risks from my communication with Dr. Sills about this. Those same things do exist on other types of sneaks, goal line, short yardage situations, and there is some inevitable risk that this game entails, but I'm not in favor of it, but I also know that I sound like a hater, because they've done it better than anybody else, and I'll acknowledge that as well."
As the owners have already begun casting their vote, it will be interesting to witness the outcome. Fans await the final call after the votes by team owners, since one thing that remains certain is that however the vote lands, the effects of it might be felt all season long.
