Seven-year-old boy crushed under tractor

Rajkot: A seven-year-old boy, the son of agricultural labourers from Madhya Pradesh, died after being run over by a tractor at Charkhadi village in Gondal taluka of Rajkot district, late on Tuesday night.Tej Nahal, whose family are from Barwani district of MP, was playing near the tractor when the accident occurred. His parents were working in the field.Tej's father, Akhilesh (27), filed a complaint at Gondal Taluka police station against the tractor operator, Uday Kandoriya, who had employed the family.Kandoriya moved the tractor forward without noticing the child nearby. Tej was taken to the Gondal government hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival.Police booked Kandoriya under Section 106(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).Just about a month ago, a two-year-old girl was crushed under the wheels of a tractor trailer in Halvad taluka of Morbi district. She was sleeping in the shade of the vehicle while her parents were working in a nearby field.
