'The Amazing World Of Gumball' announces its season 7 after a long hiatus

Gather around, ‘Gumball’ fans, it’s returning for the seventh season after a long hiatus since 2019!With a little tweak in the name, ‘The Amazing World of Gumball’ will now be ‘The Wonderfully Weird World of Gumball.’ However, the creator, Ben Bocquelet, stated that it would still be considered as the seventh season of ‘The Amazing World of Gumball.’The official Hulu synopsis states, “Welcome back to Elmore, where the laws of reality are a joke and family life is anything but ordinary. Whether he's battling an evil fast-food empire, facing off against a sentient AI in love with his mom or trying to stop Banana Joe from wearing pants - Gumball Watterson drags his brother Darwin, sister Anais, and the rest of the town of Elmore along for the ride.”Well, the official date has not been announced yet; however, the season plans, “With even wilder stories, bigger twists, and surreal humor, the show is so amazing that they had to rename it!” the synopsis added.In the teaser trailer released by the production, Gumball wakes up from the spider webs and asks how late they are. Darwin states that it’s about seven years (the exact time that the audience has been waiting for the new season) - but there is still time for a five-minute nap, and Gumball goes back to sleep.The creator, Ben Bocquelet, along with the executive producers and directors Matt Layzell and Erik Fountain, gave an official statement about the release. “What an amazing opportunity to play with these characters again! Fans can look forward to plenty more antics and misadventures in Elmore because Gumball and Darwin haven’t grown up much since we last saw them…we haven’t either,” they stated, according to Decider.
