Gouri Tonk has been one of the sort after actresses on TV, she is often seen experimenting with different characters. In an exclusive conversation with Times Of India TV, the actress opened up on life today what next creative conversations with her husband Yash and more.
Starting from when you did to today how much has the industry changed you think?
It's been 27 years to this journey and yes it has definitely brought about huge changes and I only hope it's for the better there were times when post the shoot if anything required dubbing no matter how big or small required us artists to go to the production house or the dubbing studio today we do it from homes also the script has become even more detailed and crisp the hours of the shoot have reduced everything is more streamlined so yes I'd rather look at all these positives and appreciate it.
Next what?
I love experimenting and working with new characters, I love working and hence am hoping something interesting comes my way which am sure it will. I always looks for new feathers on her cap. I am raring to go.
Do you and Yash have creative discussions at home?
Of course, we do, we are both actors but different creative minds so yes we like to take each other's opinions on our personal work we get two different POVs on our characters. So yes many times we have two different opinions on one thing and few times we agree on it spot on It is a fun process sometimes I help him in his character with my opinion and vice versa it does bring about a lot of difference in your working style creative feedback is always helpful.
Yash is an amazing actor so his feedback is deeply appreciated by me.
If not an actor what would you have been?
I would have become a lawyer or anything related to kids. I love kids but my first option was always a lawyer and today I cannot think of becoming anything but a lawyer, I just love my job.
