The New York Knicks delivered a stunning performance after a consecutive two-game debacle against the Indiana Pacers in the Eastern Conference Finals. Apart from the fact that the team secured the much-needed win, another record that the team set is that it is the third 20-point comeback during the current season's playoffs. The previous two comebacks secured by the team were their wins against the Boston Celtics in the Conference Semifinals.

The Indiana Pacers in Game 3 initially took the lead with a score of 55-35 over the New York Knicks before halftime. The Knicks were on their way to a third defeat and a near-confirmed elimination in the conference finals itself before they regained control of the game and made a stunning comeback to end the game with a score of 106-100. Star player of the team, Karl-Anthony Towns, left no stone unturned to score each possible point and led the team to an impressive victory by scoring 20+ points in the fourth quarter.
The achievement rendered the Knicks the first team to score three 20-point comebacks in a single postseason. The previous comebacks were against the Boston Celtics during the conference semifinals. The Knicks made the first comeback in Game 1 itself against the Celtics, where the former was lagging behind with a score of 72-52.
The combined efforts of Jalen Brunson and OG Anunoby led the Knicks to a resounding victory, with the final score being 108-105.The streak continued in Game 2 as well when the Knicks rose from a 70-50 trail to a winning score of 91-90. Brunson’s stunning throw towards the end put the Knicks in a leading position by 1 point and concluded the game in their favor. Josh Hart and Karl-Anthony also showcased some brilliant performances, scoring 23 and 21 points, respectively. Along with the impressive score, Karl-Anthony had 17 rebounds to his name.
