After their Game 2 victory, 114-109, and series lead 2-0, Los Angeles Lakers legend Magic Johnson shared towering praise for the Pacers' Game 2 standout Pascal Siakam as he led the team to a stunning victory at Madison Square Garden.

The conference finals are getting exciting. In the Eastern Conference finals, Game 2 on Friday, May 23rd, the Indiana Pacers asserted dominance over the New York Knicks. And as for the Knicks, they have faced another devastating defeat at their home court.Following the win, Lakers legend Magic Johnson took to X to shower praise for Pascal Siakam and the Pacers roster.“Indiana Pacers shocked the world again by beating the New York Knicks 114-109 at home. Pascal Siakam led the Pacers with 39 points! They are playing great full court pressure defense and excellent team basketball on offense. That’s why they are up 2-0 in the Series!” Johnson wrote.
The praise from the Hall of Famer would resonate with every Pacers fan, as it was an incredible feat for the team in their uphill battle for the championship.Pascal Siakam put on a stunning performance with a dominant 39-point showdown.
He shot 15-of-23 from the field, connecting on 65.2% of his attempts. Siakam also knocked down 3-of-5 from deep, shooting an impressive 60% from beyond the arc.
At the line, he stayed solid, going 6-of-8 for a 75% free-throw rate. Though he didn’t grab any offensive boards, he pulled in 4 defensive rebounds and added 3 assists.
