Ram Charan's wife, Upasana, shares special moments with Klin Kaara & Surekha as the family celebrates Ugadi

The Konidela family welcomed Ugadi, the Telugu New Year, with heartfelt celebrations that captured the spirit of tradition and family bonding. Ram Charan’s wife, Upasana Kamineni, and their daughter, Klin Kaara Konidela, made the day extra special as they spent it with Ram Charan’s mother, Surekha Konidela.

Upasana on her Instagram shared a video of the family’s Ugadi festivities at Chiranjeevi's residence. The video showed Surekha guiding little Klin Kaara through the festival's rituals. The toddler actively participated, sitting beside her grandmother and mother during the pooja. The trio prayed together with folded hands.

For the occasion, all three wore elegant ethnic outfits to the festive atmosphere. Upasana captioned her post by sharing how these traditions have been passed down through generations as she wrote, "Happy Ugadi, timeless traditions passed down through generations."
Ugadi marks the beginning of the Hindu lunisolar calendar and is celebrated with enthusiasm across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Karnataka. Families come together to perform poojas, prepare traditional dishes like Ugadi Pachadi, and pray for prosperity and happiness in the coming year.

While his family celebrated Ugadi at home, Ram Charan is currently busy shooting for his upcoming film 'Peddi,' directed by Buchi Babu Sana. The sports drama features Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead and Ram Charan in a rugged avatar as an athlete excelling in traditional sports like kabaddi and wrestling. The first-look poster of' Peddi' was unveiled on Ram Charan's birthday.

After completing 'Peddi,' Ram Charan is set to collaborate with the 'Pushpa' director Sukumar for his next project, tentatively titled 'RC17.'
Ram Charan and acclaimed director Sukumar are set to collaborate once again for 'RC17,' marking their second joint venture after the blockbuster hit 'Rangasthalam' in 2018. This film is speculated to begin production later in 2025, with plans for a grand pan-India release.
