Did Vijayashanti actually get Rs 1.5 crore salary for Sarileru Neekevvaru?

While the team of Sarileru Neekevvaru is enjoying the success of the movie, one question that has caught everyone's attention is the salary Vijayashanti got for the action-comedy.
According to some reports the actress is getting a whopping sum of Rs 1.5 crore for the film, a new report says otherwise. A report in web platform claims that Vijayashanti has received the cheque of Rs 1.5 crore for Sarileru Neekevvaru.However, all these are still just rumours as no one from the team has confirmed anything regarding the actor's remuneration.
With her charming looks and brilliant performances, Vijayashanti has carved a niche for herself in Telugu and Tamil film industries. Post her marriage with film producer MV Srinivas Prasad, she bid adieu to films. This year, the actress made her comeback with Mahesh Babu starrer Sarileru Neekevvaru. She essayed a college professor Bharati in the movie.
Directed by Anil Ravipudi, the film has hit the screens on January 11 and received rave reviews for its comedy and Mahesh Babu's charming screen presence. Apart from Mahesh Babu and Vijayashanti, the film also starred Prakash Raj, Rajendra Prasad, Rao Ramesh, Posani Krishna Murali and Tanikella Bharani in pivotal roles.
