Shivarajkumar releases the teaser of revenge thriller Dear Sathya

Sandalwood star Shivarajkumar has recently released the teaser of new Kannada film, ‘Dear Sathya’, which has actors Santhosh Aryan and Archana Kottige in lead roles. The movie is directed by Shiva Ganesh.
Shivarajkumar, who seemed quite impressed by the teaser of the upcoming film, wished the team luck. The team mostly comprises newcomers, while it marks the return of Santhosh to the silver screen, who had taken a long break from films.
Dear Sathya is a revenge thriller, which has action-packed sequences featuring Santhosh in a rugged look. Santhosh, who is playing the character of Sathya in the film, says, “There are two shades to my character. I play this handsome guy, named Sathya, who because of certain incidents in the past, turns into an emotionless person.”
During the lockdown, Santhosh did his bit to help the needy, by distributing food. He even had his stint in television as a former Bigg Boss contestant, and he also hosts the reality show, ‘Pyate Hudgir Halli Life’.
Cut to ‘Dear Sathya’, the movie also has Aruna Balraj, Ashwini Rao, Aravind Rao, Gururaj and Appana in supporting roles. The team finished shooting for the film in March. Depending on when movies will be allowed to screen in movie theatres, the release date will be decided by the team.
Female lead Archana Kottige was working as part of ad projects as well as hosting events before she got this movie offer. In the film, she plays the character of an innocent girl, who hails from a middle-class family. Sridhar V Sambhram has composed music for the film, while it’s edited by Suresh Arumugam and cinematography is done by Vinod Bharathi.
