In an interview with Forbes India, Shah Rukh Khan shared his admiration for leaders like RK Krishnakumar of Tata Sons and KV Kamath of ICICI, expressing how much he enjoyed spending time with them. He spoke about being inspired by their approach to business, noting how they were simple and grounded individuals but possessed exceptional vision and business acumen.

The 'Pathaan' actor noted that leaders from the Ambani, Birla, and Tata groups understood his interest in business went beyond mere profits, something he connected with on a deeper level, especially considering his parents' own business struggles. The actor reflected on his parents' experience in business, mentioning that while both his father and mother faced challenges and losses in their ventures, what remained vivid in his memory was the enthusiasm with which they pursued their work.
Shah Rukh Khan, while discussing what it takes to successfully run a business, emphasized the importance of passion. He compared the approach of great business leaders like Walt Disney, Azim Premji, and Ratan Tata, noting that they are driven by more than just profit, they are motivated by personal passion.
Khan humbly remarked that he is too small to comment on their business acumen, but he admires the clear intentions behind their ventures. Referring to the Tata Nano, he pointed out that while its success might be uncertain, the purpose behind its creation was clear and thoughtful. For these leaders, business is not just about making money; it's driven by a deeper, personal passion.
