Air India crash: Vikrant Massey DENIES losing cousin, says victim Clive Kunder was a family friend

Actor Vikrant Massey has spoken out to clear up a misunderstanding after many believed he lost a cousin in the tragic Air India plane crash on Thursday. The actor shared that the victim, Clive Kunder, was a close family friend and not his cousin.Taking to his Instagram stories, Vikrant explained that while Clive was close to his family, he was not his cousin. “Dear friends in the media and elsewhere, the unfortunately diseased Mr. Clive Kunder was not my cousin. The Kunders are our family friends. Request no more speculations and let the family and loved ones grieve in peace,” he wrote.Earlier on Thursday, Vikrant had shared an emotional message on his Instagram Stories about the crash. In his post, he wrote, “My heart breaks for the families & loved ones of the ones who lost their lives in the unimaginably tragic air crash in Ahmedabad today. It pains even more to know that my uncle, Clifford Kunder, lost his son, Clive Kunder, who was the 1st officer operating on that fateful flight”.Air India flight crashThe Air India flight was heading to London when it crashed just minutes after taking off from Ahmedabad. The pilot in command, Capt. Sumeet Sabharwal, had sent a Mayday call just before the crash happened. The aircraft involved was a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner.A full investigation has now been launched by the Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB).
