The second character teaser was announced yesterday and it introduced the main antagonist in the film - Sultan.

“There’s plenty of scope for actors when slipping into the shades of grey. And when there’s space for acting, makers will look for good actors, and when they search for good actors, I might get a chance. I have been exploring the dark alleys for quite some time and I really enjoy it. However, playing dark characters doesn’t mean I am typecast. I did some positive characters such as in the film ‘Chittagong’, played a footballer in ‘ Goal’, an honest police officer in ‘Undekhi’, a scientist in ‘Rocket Boys’, then again an honest officer in ‘Maharani’ who follows the path of righteousness. So, it is a mixed bag of experiences,” shares Dibyendu who is excited to play a villain in the action entertainer which has already created quite a lot of buzz since the release of its announcement teaser.
While he is happy with the evolution of content in Indian cinema one thing that bothers the seasoned actor is the current boycott trend and he feels that it’s simply useless. “This whole thing of boycotting films is a useless trick. If you don’t like a film, then just call it a bad one, but you don’t have the right to boycott it. I don’t understand this practice of boycott films? Film is collective art and it brings jobs to thousands of people. So, I would request next time you try to boycott a film please remember that also,” adds the actor.

Meanwhile, people are already appreciating ‘Mirza’s larger-than-life approach and Ankush admits he has always wanted to make larger-than-life films which will give the audience the perfect dose of entertainment they want to see on the big screen.
‘Mirza’ is being directed by Sumit-Sahil and will release during Eid next year.
