Biswanath Basu in Jeet-Mimi starrer ‘Baazi’

Actor Biswanath Basu who recently went for a short trip with family in Bolpur plays a key role in Jeet’s much-anticipated action-thriller ‘Baazi’.
“I play Jeet’s associate in a mission and my character is vital to the story. It’s always a pleasure to work with Jeet. Angshuman Pratyush (director) is also an organized person who knows what he wants from his actors,” shared Biswanath who is also playing the lead role of a lawyer in Raj Chakraborty’s ‘Bichar’.Dubbing for both the film is complete.
The official teaser of ‘Baazi’ had been creating quite a lot of buzz among Jeet fans and the first look poster of the film also made fans more excited. The first look poster was dropped online on Jeet’s birthday to make it a special one. In the poster, you can see the action hero with a rugged look and the intense gaze in his eyes can also raise the expectation bar.
Starring Jeet, Mimi Chakraborty, Sabyasachi Chakraborty, Abhishek Chatterjee, Biswanath Basu and Debdut Ghosh, ‘Baazi’ is the Bengali remake of the Telugu hit ‘Nannaku Prematho. Directed by Anshuman Pratyush, the action-thriller follows a twisted story of love and revenge. As we have already seen in the official teaser, Jeet seems to be in a race against time while his mission is connected to his father’s treatment and safety.
Pratyush made his directorial debut with ‘Panther’ last year which also starred Jeet in the lead. His second film ‘SOS Kolkata’ starring Yash Dasgupta, Nusrat Jahan and Mimi Chakraborty in the lead released during Durga Puja this year. Both the films received a decent response at the box office.
