Former Australia Test cricketer Michael Slater has been sentenced to four years in jail; however, the 55-year-old will walk free after already serving more than a year in custody. Slater pleaded guilty to seven charges, including domestic violence.
Slater was facing allegations of assault, strangulation, burglary, and stalking against a woman in the Noosa region from late 2023.
